In the morning at Delhi, take a sightseeing tour of Raj Ghat (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi) and Shanti Vana (the cremation site of Jawaharlal Nehru), Jama Masjid and drive past the Red Fort and the Chandni Chowk. At noon visit Qutub Minar - built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, the War Memorial Arch and Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Stay overnight at the hotel.

In the morning with packed breakfast transfer to the railway station to board the train to Amritsar. In the afternoon visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony - Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar, where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause.

With the blessings of Golden Temple start your city tour - the most important sikh shrine which is also realized as the Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Get inside the bullet marked walls, blood stained gates of Jallianwala Bagh, where, on April 13, 1919, British Army opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians, whose hapless cries still dwell around the walls. After lunch visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum. It was the summer palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, which is situated in the heart of Ram Bagh, Amritsar.

As you will embark upon your onward journey, head out for Jaipur, the pink city. Have a lovely and relaxed evening while shopping around the local market. The capital of Rajasthan is famous for its majestic forts, opulent havelis, beautiful lakes and sand dunes. The history of Jaipur takes you about 300 years back in time, when the Mughal Empire in India was on its decline.

In the morning visit the Amber Fort a long ago capital of the state of Jaipur. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Enjoy ascending the Fort on Elephant back.

In the afternoon, take sightseeing tour of Jaipur, the modern capital of Rajasthan. It was painted in pink colour a century ago in honour of a visiting prince. Ever since, Jaipur has retained this pink colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, a notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. While in Jaipur, visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory and Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past the Hawa Mahal.

Next day while driving to Agra En route to visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was built during 1571 and 1585 and dwelled for just 14 years. It is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. Though the city is in ruins now, it is a must visit place for all those who visit Agra. Fatehpur Sikri is a place where one should spend some tranquil moments, absorbing the vibes of saint Salim Chisti and the mighty ambition of the Emperor, India once had. The sunset over the ruins is a sight to behold and cherish. 

In the morning visit the colossal Taj Mahal, standing as the epitome of sentiment for eons, to let us have its glimpse, fleeting may be, but worth it. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his loving wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj still lingers as the tear drop of on the cheek of the earth. This monument is made of white marble and it took 22 years to get constructed. Not very far from Taj Mahal,  visit the Agra fort. Built originally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565, this red sandstone building was partially converted into a palace during the time of Shah Jahan. In the afternoon visit Itmad-ud-daulah. This tomb belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghias-ud-Din Beg. He was the Wajir (Chief Minister) of Emperor Jehangir. This white marble tomb was built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628.

Catch a train to Jhansi. On arriving at Jhansi, meet our representative and drive straight to Khajuraho, en route stopover at Orchha – an unforgettable escape into the Bundela woods. "Orchha", meaning "hidden" was the hallmark of Bundela dynasty. The origin of Bundelas goes back to the 11th century. It is believed that it was founded by a Rajput prince who offered himself in sacrifice to the mountain goddess, Vindhyavasini. The goddess stopped the prince from sacrificing and named him Bundela, meaning the one who offered blood. The Bundelas ruled over this area between the river Yamuna and Narmada.

After a brief stopover at Orchha, move to the exotic Khajuraho. In the evening enjoy the sound and light show.

After breakfast make your headway for the sightseeing tour of Khajuraho temples. The trip is to the Eastern Group of Khajuraho temples. Morning begins on a celestial note as we shall traverse you to the mystic galleries of the fascinating temples of Khajuraho. The bold artistic statement of erotic sculptures and the splendidly structured monuments will surely leave eternal imprints on your heart. 
In the afternoon leave for the airport to catch a flight for Varanasi. On reaching Varanasi spend the evening languidly by the banks of the Ganges, while watching the divine spectacle of Ganga Aarti.

In the morning take a boat cruise at river Ganges to observe the life of pilgrims, and others, who pray by the Ghats of Varanasi. Next go for an excursion to Sarnath, located 10 Km East of Varanasi. It is one of the major Buddhist centres of India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnath where he gave his first sermon. 

In the morning, after breakfast, be assisted by our envoy with the transfer facilities to the airport for your onward journey.
