Irreverent, cheerful and pleasantly energetic, Sikkim’s modern capital sits on a sheer mountain ridge, descending down the hillside in steep tiers. A gradually growing sprawl of concrete, the town is blessed with a handful of sights, and doubles as a good base for excursions to places such as Rumtek and Tsomgo Lake. Travellers usually linger here for a few days, soaking up the local culture, stealing Khangchendzonga views from hotel terraces and arranging their travels - treks and tours around the state.
The Rangpo–Mangan road - marked NH31A - forms the curved north-south spine of Gangtok. Several restaurants, shops, banks, travel agents and tourist offices line the central Mahatma Gandhi (MG) Marg for the amblers, a happy district propped by shoppers, lovers, diners and fashionistas.
Soaring rock-pinnacled valley walls embroidered with long ribbons of waterfalls surround the scattered village of Lachung. To appreciate the full drama of its setting, take the metal cantilever bridge across the wild Yumthang River and then climb 1.5km for great views from the Lachung (Sarchok) Gompa (established 1880).
Otherwise a fairly nondescript town, with a 2km stretch of boxed-out tourist hotels that line the main thoroughfare, frequented by hordes of local tourists through the year holds the raison d’être of Pelling is its stride-stopping, jaw-dropping view of Khangchendzonga at dawn, if weather permits. Pelling is nominally divided into Upper, Middle and Lower areas. A focal point of Upper Pelling is a small roundabout where the main road from Geyzing turns 360 degrees in front of Hotel Garuda. At the same point, minor roads branch south to Dentam and southwest to the tourist office and the helipad, which has magnificent panoramic views at dawn.
Itinerary
Day-1
Pick up from Bagdogra /NJP Drive to Gangtok (110 km ,4-5 hrs drive, The capital of Sikkim) Over night stay.
Day-2
After breakfast check out and go for lachung (A beautiful village),on the way visit Sevensister falls, bhim nala, Chungthang overnight stay at Lachung
Day-3
After breakfast visit Yumthang valley, back to hotel for lunch afternoon transfer to Lachen, overnight stay at Lachung.
Day-4
After breakfast go to visit Gurudongmar Lake, afternoon return back to hotel for lunch after transfer to Gangtok overnight stay.
Day-5
After breakfast go for visit Tsomgo lake & New Baba temple overnight at Gangtok.
Day-6
After breakfast transfer to Pelling,on the way visit Ravangla. Overnight stay.
Day-7
After breakfast half day sightseeing at Pelling visit Rimbi waterfalls, Rock Garden, Kanchanjungha water falls, Khechupelri lake, back to hotel check out and transfer to NJP.

The vehicle used will be exclusive for that group but will not be at disposal. For additional usage extra amount will be charged as per usage.

We reserves the rights to make changes or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band, security reason etc.
Kindly inform us if the guests are senior citizens or have health related issues (like arthritis, heart problems etc.) or any such matter which might need special arrangements. Some itineraries will not be suitable for them and we will suggest accordingly.
The security concerns, driver’s working hours etc. will be kept in mind while planning the tour and sightseeing.
We try to ensure that the sightseeing points do not fall on a closing day. Incase due to inevitable situation if the sightseeing falls on a closing day, it will have to be left out. Conducting that particular tour or sightseeing point the next day will be subject to time availability & additional charges. There will be no refund of any un-utilized service in part or in full what so ever may be the reason.
