In this tour, we offer a holistic Tea Tasting expertise that will take you to some of the world famous tea producing areas of Assam state of India. By becoming a part of our this tour, you can walk around the tea estates, talk to the planters, learn the complex tea plantation process, taste some refreshing tea and take some picture perfect shots right in the middle of tea gardens. In addition, you can also get a chance to explore the other major attractions of the state like Balipara, Nameri National Park, archaeological site of Tezpur and much more.

The tour will start from Delhi, from where our representative will take care of your staying and transfer to Guwahati, the place from where it all will begin. On arrival at Guwahati, have the transfer assistance to move to the Addabarie Tea Estate. Refresh yourself in the serene expanses of the Estate, and spend the evening, while sipping a refreshing cup of tea, before enjoying the Tea Testing procedure at “First Flush Dining Pavilion”. Enjoy dinner and relax at your hotel.

On the third day of your trip, you will visit the Addabarie Tea Factory to know the whole process of tea making. In the tea factory, you will get a chance to see the full process of manufacturing like crushing, tearing and curling of tea.

Later, you will return to the accommodation. After refreshment, there will be lunch amid the tea plantation with a great zest. Having lunch in the tea plantation will give you a different experience. Later in the afternoon, you will visit Rangapara Monastery; you can try for the tantric meditation. In the evening return to the Wild Mahseer. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

On the fourth day, enjoy the excursion to the Balipara - traditional Missing village. Here, participate in the daily life of Missing community. The community is the second largest ethnic group in Assam, originating from Tibet and Mongolia. The Missing settled here during the 8th century. The women of the village are renowned for their inheritor exquisite handlooms of cotton and silk, especially the Mirizen shawls and blankets, whereas the male members of the family are indulged in fishing and cultivation.

this visit will fetch you the experience of the village life and their cultural with day to day activities like agricultural practices, fish in the river, rearing silk worms, visit the dairy farm, etc. Later, you will visit the local handicrafts and try hands at weaving on a handloom. By the way, before leaving the village have a delicious ethnic lunch at the village. In the evening return to the Wild Mahaseer. Enjoy your dinner and stay overnight.

On the fifth day, you need to start little early, to enjoy the wildlife excursion to Nameri National Park. After the safari, visit the archaeological site of Tezpur. Here, you will visit the Sri Mahabhairab Mandir, a Hindu Temple, Holeshwar Temple, Agnigarh, as well. Enjoy lunch in Tezpur. 

After lunch, return to Wild Mahseer and enjoy evening tea in the Tea Elephant trek. Here, you will ride the elephant through local villages, bamboo groves and farmland, across babbling brooks, river beds. Further, venture into the neighboring tea garden, where you will enjoy the high-tea. In the evening, return to your lodge and enjoy dinner a night.

After breakfast, visit the organic experimental cultivation station, and return to your resort to freshen up. Further, drive to Guwahati with packed lunch. By the way, do not miss to score some packs of tea from Addabarie Tea Estate. Upon arrival at Guwahati avail the transfer facilities to the airport to board the flight to Delhi for your onward journey.

Nevertheless, if you get any spare time in Delhi, it would be a good idea to visit both the Old and New Delhi and its historical heritage, existing in its living links to its traditional past.
