Itinerary
Day 1: Visit around Manali
After breakfast trek to old Manali, and revisit history through Hadimba temple, Shiva temple and in the evening explore the town. As you call it a day, spend overnight in your camp.
Day 2:- Rock climbing and rappelling
Type of rock climbing:
Natural or Free climbing : Climb the rocks without any equipment using your natural hold, and explore the new thrill of climbing rocks naturally.
Artificial climbing: Enjoy the excitement of the combination of maneuvering your limbs and the climbing equipment, as you find the tough is getting tougher.
Rappelling: Experience how it feels when the rock face is difficult to climb down due to steepness, wetness or some other reason. In these cases rappelling is the best way to climb down. Enjoy the thrill of coming down steep, using rappelling or abseiling or roping down as it is most commonly called, is a quick method of descending over a steep face of rock, snow or ice by sliding down a fix single or double rope anchored on top.
Day 3:- Trek to Jog fall and Vashisht (Pack lunch)
Go for a day hike to Jog Fall through the Villages and green fields and Pine forests and spend some time. Later walk down to Vashisht village, where still sprinkling the famous hot water and visit Vashisht temple. You can have a dip in the hot water spring, which is recommended to cure skin disease. After the trek, come back through Bahang via Goshal village to your camp site. Stay overnight at camp.
Day 4:- River crossing
While, trekking in the mountains, you also have to cross several stream, using river crossing technique. To cross these streams you need to have good knowledge of how to cross these streams. Build your hands-on experience in crossing these streams or rivers with technique and full safety of river crossing and in the evening get engaged in Burma bridge activities. After dinner enjoy a camp fire.
Day 5:- Manali to Shivling point via Solong (Pack lunch)
Explore the village life, while you trek through the several villages, apple orchards and cultivated fields. Visit the Hindu temples and explore ancient architecture, on your way to Solang Valley and Shivling point and by afternoon take the same way back to your camp. Stay overnight at camp.
Day 6:- Burma Bridge and self-cooking
Day 7:- After breakfast departure to onward
