Your holiday here won’t be complete without a jungle safari. Jaldapara and Gorumara, both the sanctuaries are swarming with wild inhabitants. Elephants, Rhinos, Gaurs, Deers, Bisons, wide varieties of birds and butterflies will welcome you with their grace. Jungle safari on an elephant is always a wild escapade. Discover elephant trails, catch a glimpse of the rhinos hiding in the chest long grass, herd of deer running alongside river Murlty or just indulge in the magical silence of the forest accompanied by chirping birds. Adventure is everywhere. Hiking in the parks is allowed with prior permission though it is slight risky keeping in mind the teeming population of the wild inhabitants.
In the Wild
Buxa Tiger Reserve
It’s the largest forest in Dooars region and second in tiger population in Bengal. The reserve is rich in bio-diversity and you will find not only the elegant Royal Bengal Tigers but bisons, leopards, many species of deer, amphibians and reptiles. Hit the core areas of wildlife reserve in a hooded jeep, and who knows, you can be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the elegant Royal Bengal tiger.
Samsing
Situated in a fair height of 3000 feet, Samsing is a place of pure reposeful nature. The journey to Sansing is a pleasant one, as you slowly wind through the tea garden in hilly roads, your eyes will definitely enjoy a feast of nature.
Jayanti
A small forest village in Buxa Reserve is known for its wild beauty. Situated adjacent to Bhutan, this place has some of the purest scenic beauty of the middle range mountains and natural springs. A 13-Km trek from Buxaduar to Jayanti is popular for its thrills as it passes through the dense forest of Buxa Reserve.
Jhalong
Situated in a hilly region, on the bank of river Jaldhaka, Jhalong is a place of bliss and natural beauty. There’s a reservoir on river Jaldhaka, so it’s a good place to watch migratory birds as well as hill birds. The river cutting through the lush green expanse of Dooars is mesmerizing to watch.

RESERVATION, CANCELLATION AND OTHER POLICIES
BOOKING, RESERVATION, DEPOSIT: A deposit of 50% of the total price is due with your reservation. Final payments are due before the departure and for a few special trips, 30 days before your trip starts. We also accept bookings from minors; however we do require the signature of either both the parents or the legal guardian on both, reservation form and liability wavier.
CONFIRMATION LETTER: Upon receipt of the reservation form, release of liability form and deposit, you will receive a confirmation by email followed by an information letter with detailed information regarding our contact information, meeting time, departure time.
PAYMENTS: The prices quoted are for payment by cash, draft, wire transfer, cheque or money order. The tour price is payable to ttc Travel And Tourism Corporation Limited, 45 days prior to departure. Failure to pay by that date entitles ttc Travel And Tourism Corporation Limited to cancel your booking without notice and without refund of the deposit. Prices are quoted in Rupees. For some special trips, the booking may be up to 2 months before departure.
CANCELLATION: Advance is nonrefundable. Guests can avail the amount within 6 months from the date of cancellation in any of our resort or hotel properties.
HEALTH AND FITNESS REQUIREMENTS: Participants must be in good health and in a good physical condition. It is vital that participants with medical problems make them known to us well before departure. If you suffer from severe muscular, chest, heart or bronchial disorders, or if you are a severe asthmatic, or have high blood pressure, you are strongly advised against participating. Our trips generally take place in remote areas where there is little or no access to normal medical services or hospital facilities for serious problems. Where necessary, evacuation can be prolonged but it is difficult and expensive. Medical and evacuation expense will be the responsibility of the participant.
TRIP /CANCELLATION /EVACUATION INSURANCE: This is highly recommended for purpose of covering cancellations and last minute travel changes. Also, all participants should have internationally accepted health insurance for all activities pertaining to the trip, which should include coverage for emergency rescue and evacuation.
ROUTE CHANGES /POSTPONEMENT OR DELAY: Travel And Tourism Corporation Ltd., may for any reason change the date of departure or conclusion of the tour, or it is possible that a route change, postponement or delay (either in relation to departure or to the duration of the expedition) may become necessary due to inclement weather, snow and ice conditions, political restrictions or any other cause. In the event of a change, postponement or delay, participants have no right to refund of the tour price (in whole or in part) or other compensation for any injury, loss or damage.
PACKAGE PRICES: Package prices are based on ground costs, airfares and exchange rates. Travel And Tourism Corporation Ltd., tries its utmost not to increase tour prices (in full or part), however sometimes increases are outside its control. We reserve the right to amend tour prices (or any part) without notice at any time before and including the departure date. Amendments may be necessitated for many reasons including, but not limited to, exchange rate fluctuations, increased fuel costs, airfares, airport charges etc. Any increase in tour prices must be paid prior to the departure date.
EXCLUSION FROM TOUR PRICE: The following items are excluded from the tour price:*visa, passport and vaccination charges;*departure, airport and airline taxes;*extra meals not included in the itinerary;*laundry, postage, personal clothing, medical expenses, personal travel insurance and items of a personal nature;*emergency evacuation charges; and *tips and excess baggage charges.
